Security – multiple perspectives
The University of Security organizes the VII International Academic Conference ‘Security – multiple perspectives’. The main theme of the conference will be ‘security from the perspective of environments and areas’.
The world we inhabit is often described as ‘inhospitable’, because of multiple threats occurring in it on various levels (micro, mezzo, macro) that contemporary human being must face. The aim of the conference is an exchange of thoughts, experiences and a presentation of research results concerning the functioning of the human being, the society and the state. The deliberations will cover multiple aspects of perspectives of various environments and areas of human life, in the field of broadly defined security.
The conference is addressed to representatives of various environments, be it sciences, business, or administration, teachers of all educational levels, employees of state institutions and local governments, students, persons with background in multidimensional security as well as firms interested in the problems of security in its practical or theoretical aspects. Deliberations will be in the form of paper presentations, communiques, workshops, plenary discussions and sessions devoted to problems.
The conference is planned between 17-19 September 2014, and the sessions will take place in Na Podzamczu Hotel in Tarnowskie Góry, a charming town in south-west Poland. Part of the sessions will take place in Świerklaniec, in the surroundings of a 200 year old landscape park qualified as a first category monument.
